Favourite place for a date:

I love going to church with my wife on Sundays and talking about the Bible.

Favourite place to bring HK visitors to:

Ocean Park. It’s a great place to spend time with the family.

Favourite foodie:

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, my master.

Favourite breakfast:

Oatmeal. It’s healthy and a great start to your day. I just have it straight and add a little bit of milk.

Favourite drink:

White wine. Usually a Chardonnay.

Favourite dinner companion:

My wife.

Favourite meal of the day:

Lunch because I tend to eat more during that time. Because I work most nights, I like to have light dinners.

Favourite secret ingredient:

Salt. The amount you put into the sushi is a secret!

Favourite dessert:

Cheesecake. I’m a very simple guy.

Favourite thing to do when you’re not in the kitchen:

Sports. I like to do tai chi.

Favourite Cantonese place:

Lin Heung Tea House. I like its traditional Chinese food, like the duck.
