Drop Out Orchestra

Following in the footsteps of electro funk gods Daft Punk, the DJ duo of  Drop Out Orchestra has managed to keep a ridiculously low profile given their all-star success. Releasing major covers such as International Track by their electro elders, the Swedish duo are set to ring in the next instalment of Club Clicquot Vingt-Cinq at Kee Club, together with a fluo and flash dress code and top-hat donning lady-waiters to trot.

Made up of a music teacher and a studio engineer, the disc-jockeying pair have played gigs spanning Singapore to Brazil, and were crowned as an Essential Tune of the Week by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 show. The DOO have also reworked tracks from some of the industry’s biggest players, including Robyn, Craig David and The Ramones, garnering them a number one charting hit from their prodigal peer, Fatboy Slim.

The DJs reined in the summer with a cover of Daft Punk’s latest hit track, Get Lucky, with 200,000 SoundCloud hits, so we can expect nothing short of disco mayhem from the duo. Marisa Cannon
