The West Kowloon Cultural District authority announces the successful design for Hong Kong's new visual museum, M+

Hong Kong - meet M+. Yes, we know you've been flirting with each other for quite a while - occasionally threatening to hook up and make it official - but finally, we're confident that this will be the moment that finally makes it official. When you finally meet your bride.

After a design competition featuring some of the world's top architecture firms, Herzog & de Meuron + TFP Farrells has been announced as the successful design for Hong Kong's feverishly anticipated museum for visual culture - a 60,000sqm behemoth focusing on contemporary art and culture.
